The Hall
The hall has a stripped pine floor and is suitable for classes, meetings, groups and seminars. It has a portable PA, an electrically operated screen and projector plus a portable bar.
The Chapel
The chapel has a near perfect acoustic plus stage lighting and PA. It is a unique atmospheric location ideal for smaller events it seats up to 60/70 in pews with custom made foam cushions. Available for hire after end of June 2021
Licenses
We are licensed to sell/serve alcohol. You must notify us at the time of booking if alcohol is to be consumed. It is a requirement that you comply with licensing law and display a tariff with drink sizes and prices. We reserve the right to cancel events that do not meet legal requirements.
There are tea and coffee making facilities and a microwave. We also offer a hot water urn. There are cups and small plates for 24 people. The catering kitchen is available for hire at extra cost, please email for a quote.
The entire venue has free wifi for hirers. Connect your device and go online for as long as you need for as many devices as you need. We also offer projector hire and an electrically operated screen in the hall, a free- standing one in the chapel.
The Westgate Chapel (Tom Paine's Chapel) is wheelchair accessible throughout, access is via a ramp which should be requested in advance. The access details will be sent in response to a completed booking.
